The dinner slots go quickly due to the striking décor and food that differs from normal theme park fare. If you are a couple, avoid this place.When it comes to prized dining reservations at The Magic Kingdom, none are more valuable than Be Our Guest. My partner said his cupcake was fabulous.he said 'the grey stuff is delicious' and as it turned out it was. I can eat pretty much anything and not complain but this was a poor product that ruined the meal and made me feel ill afterwards. However, the dessert (chocolate eclair) was one of only two items on a two week trip that I regretted. Food came fast (they find you with some sort of plastic rose tracking device.very cool), and it was good.
Forget any kind of conversation as you collect your own tableware and stake out a table that is inches away from the next, while workers weave through the crowd clearing tables of debris as they spot them. Then we walked out to a 'massive' cattle call cafeteria sized dining room where you had to fight to find a table in a very loud atmosphere.

Then it was on to the line to stand in front of an 'ordering kiosk' where you tried to figure out how to use the machine to take your order and insert your card for payment. We were given a menu in this line and were told to read it while in the line up and in the dim light so that we would know what to order when we got there. Then we were moved to an inside line to stand in line to get to go the the 'payment area' line up. We went at 10:45 in the morning but were told that this was a lunch serving. You could not get in without a reservation and it looked so pretty on the outside. Went there first week of January 2016 for lunch. Its a quick service credit on the dining plan, and worth it :) I highly recommend Be Our Gues for Lunch. The meal was fantastic! The pork was tender that no fok was needed. I love how disney pays attention to every detail! I sat down at a table, took some pictures and like magic, my meal came to my table! They bring all three things at once. I chose to sit in the West Wing (no trip to the Beasts castle is complete without going into the West Wing to look at the enchanted rose, which actally does exist!) The room was pretty dark, but the theme was amazing. I got to the register to pay and they asked me if I had wanted to keep my meal, or change it, then they proceeded to give me a rose and told me to pick a seat any where in the three dining rooms (Rose Gallery, The West Wing, or the Grand Ball Room). When I got to the restuarant, I gave them my name, and they told me to proceed. I ordered the Braised Pork, with potatoes and Green Beans, a Chocolate creme puff for dessert and a bottle of water (I was on the dining plan, so I was allowed an entree, dessert and a drink). (I will share my thoughts on breakfast on another entry) I pre ordered my meal from home approx 60 days before the meal was to take place. I had been to BOG for dinner on my previous trip and wanted to try it for lunch and breakfast this time. I dined at Be Our Guest for lunch on my solo disney adventure in September 2015.
